Following the successful delivery of the Mill Studio project, Calderdale College appointed 3P Construct to deliver a second major development within the Dean Clough complex – the creation of a new purpose-built Art Studio.
The completed project has transformed the existing space into a modern, inspiring creative learning environment designed to support students and provide flexible facilities for future generations.
The appointment followed the successful Mill Studio development and reflects the strong relationship between Calderdale College and 3P Construct, as well as the College’s confidence in our ability to deliver complex refurbishment and fit-out projects within live educational environments.
The Objective
The objective was to transform an existing space within D Mill at Dean Clough into a modern Art Studio that would provide a high-quality environment for creative learning.
The new facility needed to combine practical teaching requirements with a flexible design capable of supporting the College and its students for years to come.
The Solution
3P Construct delivered a complete design-and-build solution, managing the project from planning and design coordination through to construction, fit-out, testing and final handover.
The project brought together multiple trades and specialist elements to transform the existing space into a purpose-built teaching environment, with the 3P Construct team coordinating the works throughout the programme.
