Project Overview
Appointed as Main Contractor, 3P Construct were tasked with delivering the full fit-out and transformation of Kapital Bar, a new premium venue located in the heart of Sheffield’s bustling city centre.
The client’s vision was to create a sophisticated, contemporary bar space that would stand out within Sheffield’s vibrant nightlife scene. Working from an empty shell, our team managed every stage of construction, from new mechanical and electrical systems to bespoke joinery and high-end finishes, delivering a truly exceptional result.
Scope of Works
Mechanical & Electrical Installation
3P Construct delivered a full new mechanical and electrical package designed for the demands of a busy hospitality environment, including:
• Complete rewiring and lighting installation with programmable ambient lighting systems
• Full HVAC and ventilation installation ensuring comfort and efficiency
• New fire alarm, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems installed to meet safety and licensing standards
• Upgraded electrical distribution to power bar equipment, AV systems, and lighting control
Toilets & Plumbing
• Installation of new luxury toilet facilities, including efficient plumbing and modern sanitaryware
• Full hot and cold water distribution and new drainage installation
• Discreet back-of-house plant areas for pumps and water heaters to optimise space and maintenance access
Decoration, Flooring & Finishes
• Full decoration throughout the venue, with custom wall finishes and feature lighting
• Installation of durable and stylish flooring across both levels
• High-quality finishes and bespoke joinery to reflect the venue’s premium brand identity
Bespoke Bar Design & Installation
• Fabrication and installation of two bespoke bars, one on the ground floor and one on the mezzanine
• Custom joinery and detailed craftsmanship ensured each bar became a visual centrepiece
• Integration of premium materials, under-bar lighting, and concealed service access for a seamless aesthetic

• City Centre Constraints: Careful coordination ensured minimal disruption during deliveries and site works in a busy urban location
• Complex Building Layout: 3P Construct’s in-house expertise allowed for seamless integration of new systems into existing building structures
